Architectural-urban competition for conceptual idea of a square with viewpoint, Ciglane, Sarajevo, Bosia.
The project aims at creating a box, an open space that can bring a satisfactory answer to the question: “how to foster and strengthen a sense of communion and how architecture and the shaping of common spaces can help with that?” With the participation and involvement of local protagonists, the project looks at challenging public space and its limitations to communal life, and creating inclusion and hospitality. Just like what Bauhaus has taught us, this idea also aims at getting closer to an “art and craftsmanship” concept that will turn into “art and production”.
This project is all about giving a creative and social kick to the neighbourhood.
