OAXACAN'S RUG
Teotilan Del Valle is known for its local craft: artisanal rug. The project is an exploration in between crafts and digital tools. Following a meeting with a craftsman, the project transposes the place of manufacture, the workshop into a creation, a rug. Thanks to the digital tool, the project recovers the topography of the territory and arranges it in architectural representation: successive sections who allow us to read a territory. The drawing is then brought on site to be entrusted to the craftsman to finalize the creation.
